These puppies ROCK! It must be the HUMBUCKER pickup. They have a full length neck and strings. It's just their body that is a little shorter. They're made for kids 11 and under, that don't quite have a full reach to the first fret. Others have purchased these as a travel guitar, because of their size. If you close your eyes, they sound just like a full sized guitar.
